Find balance
on the board
What skating means to me
I taught myself how to skate in 2021 as a way to cope with the endless London lockdowns. I was looking for an outdoor activity that would push me outside my comfort zone.
Little did I know that I would find a hobby that is here to stay, and a worldwide community that never fails to inspires me.
Fast-forward 2 years later, and I co-lead the London Longboard Girls community, host regular skate meet-ups and workshops in London and around the world, and have travelled around Europe and the US through longboarding, joining different skate camps and events.
“To me, longboarding is the perfect blend of movement, mindfulness, and creativity.
It connects me to my inner child and playful side, focuses my mind and gives me an incomparable feeling of freedom.
It’s balance in action.”

Building a community of
London-based female skaters
I’ve experienced firsthand how intimidating it can be to be the only woman at a skate spot, so I’ve made it a point to create a space for women to come together to practice and progress safely, and benefit from the power of an uplifting, supportive, and inclusive community made for and by women.
I co-lead the London Longboard Girls community and run beginner & intermediate skate workshops through the group every month.

Stretching for Skateboarders
As a yoga teacher who longboards, I’m always thinking of ways in which yoga can help support my skating, prevent injuries and improve performance.
I developed an easy-to-follow 7-day program to help build balance on the board, recover after skate sessions, and improve skating performance.
